BayoTech’s hydrogen generation systems produce local hydrogen close to the application. This saves customers money and reduces the carbon intensity associated with the legacy challenges of liquifying and transporting hydrogen. As the Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll be working to help employees across the organization stay up to date about BayoTech’s vision, goals, projects and executive updates by leading strategic internal communications programs. You’ll be responsible for connecting employees with the right information and keeping our organization transparent and employees engaged! The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a knack for interpersonal skills and a passion for creating experiences. The role will build a strong culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire our community of employees in a fast paced, rapidly changing business.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic internal communications plan: You will align internal and executive messaging with the company’s vision, mission, and branding.

Work cross-functionally across teams: You will work in close partnership with Human Resources, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.

Produce employee communications: Develop and author a variety of internal communications including newsletters, presentations, announcements, blogs to be delivered across a variety of communications channels.

Manage the company’s internal communications channels: Maintain the editorial calendar, research and develop quotes from people, write stories, shoot videos, conduct surveys and contribute to the Intranet.

Support company meetings and corporate events: You will help craft the messaging and program through agenda, speaker selection and logistics.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience producing communications for a variety of channels and audiences in a corporate environment

A passion for clean energy and the desire to work towards a collective vision to build a cleaner world

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint

Graphic design experience preferred

Must be a highly organized self-starter

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
