BayoTech is pleased to welcome Greg Powers as Chief Innovation Officer

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (February 1, 2022) — BayoTech is pleased to welcome Greg Powers as Chief Innovation Officer. Powers comes to BayoTech from Halliburton, where he most recently served as Vice President of Global Innovation.

At BayoTech, Powers will be responsible for developing a product technology roadmap, assuring product development is seamlessly integrated with BayoTech’s Hub and production build-out schedule and in line with customer needs. He will also take part in mergers and acquisition, partnerships and licensing developments which will enhance BayoTech ecosystem and goal of becoming the world’s leader in distributed hydrogen.

Powers joined Halliburton as Vice President of Technology and was responsible for leading the overall technology direction and product development processes as well as oversight of IP and strategy and structure of the global technology organization. In addition, for the last three years as Global Innovation Vice President, he was a key creator of an internal industrial accelerator focused on helping external start-up companies scale to commercialization. Powers’ technology experience spans four decades of work in chemical engineering, research, and development in a broad range of industries.
