BayoTech joins forces with the California Hydrogen Business Council

28 April 2021, New Mexico – BayoTech, an innovative on-site hydrogen production company, announced today that it has joined the California Hydrogen Business Council (CHBC) Board of Directors, an advocate for hydrogen and fuel cells in California.

“We find California to be an exciting marketplace for hydrogen generation and distribution and have plans to invest significant capital to develop plants, create jobs, create tax base and help meet the carbon reduction goals,” said Mo Vargas President & CEO for BayoTech. Andrew Leedom, General Counsel and Head of Policy for BayoTech added, “We believe that BayoTech can help solve the hydrogen shortage and redundancy issues that have been a challenge for growing the hydrogen industry in California.  Working closely with CHBC enables us to communicate the development strategy and deployment of resources needed to make that happen quickly and in a large way.”

“It is my great pleasure to welcome BayoTech to the CHBC’s growing and diverse membership. With their addition, we reinforce our value as an industry through an innovative distributed, onsite hydrogen production solution, which will strengthen California’s energy resilience and build up hydrogen fuel supply at the point of use,” said Bill Zobel, Executive Director for CHBC.
